Pains of Being Pure at Heart collect some of their lesser-known tracks on a new album. The B-Sides Collection Perfect Right Now: A Slumberland Collection 2008-2010 released on February 7th. Check out the tracklist and rewatch the music video for 2010's “Say No to Love” below.
“A lot of these songs, like our debut, were written on it now— to make in wild pop imagination what we could not yet achieve through musical skill,” Kip Berman of Pains of Being Pure at Heart said in a statement. “But even if that now it is now irreversible thenI still think there's nothing better than making music with your friends and dreaming, as our Myspace page once proclaimed, of “being the biggest band in the world—about 18 people.”
Pains of Being Pure at Heart announced their split in 2019, with Kip Berman continuing to release music as Natvral. However, earlier this year the band announced they would be reuniting for a string of 2025 concerts.
