Coheed and Cambria have announced a new album titled The father of fantasywhose launch is scheduled for March 14. The band also debuted the new single “Searching for Tomorrow.”

According to a press release, “A way of looking The father of fantasy Coheed and Cambria establish the desire to move forward while honoring an extraordinary story. Another: a series of questions, emotions and thoughts at war with each other: 'a war inside me,' as band leader, vocalist and lead guitarist Claudio Sánchez puts it.”
The description continues: “Where the setting breaks new ground is in how Sánchez takes on the role of the main character. He has often used epic songs to mask the stories he wanted to tell: reflections on an addicted father, memories of his beloved grandfather, fears of raising a child in a cruel world, anxieties about losing the love of his life.
“Searching for Tomorrow” is accompanied by an animated music video directed by Anthony Scheppard. The song serves as the second single from the new album, as recent single “Blind Side Sunny” is also included on the 14-song tracklist.
Regarding the single, Sánchez stated: “This song is a reminder that always looking for something better in your life robs you of the ability to appreciate the good things you already have.”
A limited edition boxed version of the album, titled Vaxis Act III: The Father of FantasyIncludes CD and digital download along with Blind Side Sonny's fully wearable and functional helmet and neurodynamic display glasses; a hardcover illustrated novella coffee table book; a neurodynamic display glasses app to personalize the display; one 11.5” x 35” bedroom poster; and a signed death certificate from Siv Trafinder.
So far in 2025, Coheed will play Tool’s “Live in the Sand” festival in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in March; the Festival of Trees 2000 in Cheltenham, England, in July; and set sail on his own SS Neverender cruise ship from Miami in November.
