Michael Bublé's 'Christmas' Returns to Top 40 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart

Michael Bublé's blockbuster holiday album Christmas returns to the top 40 on the Billboard 200 all-genre album chart (dated Nov. 23), zooming from No. 72 in No. 35. Christmas is the first holiday album to reach the Billboard 200's top 40 this holiday season.

The Billboard 200 chart dated November 23 reflects the tracking week of November 8-14.

Christmaswhich was released in 2011 and topped the chart for five weeks in late 2011 and early 2012, returned to the top 10 on the chart every holiday season following its release.

This past holiday season, Christmas climbed to No. 2 of January 2, 2024, was eliminated from the top by Taylor Swift's 1989 (Taylor's Version). Christmas also reached No. 2 in the charts 1-8 January 2022 (excludes Adele's 30) and on the January 4, 2020 chart (excluded by Harry Styles' Thin line).

Since its release, Christmas has earned 7.47 million equivalent album units in the US, with traditional album sales accounting for 4.7 million of that figure, according to Luminate. The album's songs — which include covers of traditional tunes like “It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” — have generated 3.36 billion official on-demand streams in the US
