Days before Super Bowl LIX, which will take over New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on Sunday, Feb. 9, Bud Light will start the weekend right with an intimate show from a massive star.
On Friday, Feb. 7, Post Malone will perform at the historic Fillmore, which boasts a capacity of roughly 2,000 – and largely contrasts with the stadiums he will headline later that year. The show, titled Bud Light Backyard Presents Post Malone, will be free for fans 21+.
Earlier this year, Posty starred in Bud Light’s Super Bowl commercial for his third year in a row. “Maybe it will become a tradition and we just do one every year until everyone is sick of seeing me,” he said at the time through laughter.
He also earned a slot as one of three pregame performers, singing “America the Beautiful” before the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs took place.
Outside of the Super Bowl, Posty has a long history of collaborating with Bud Light on fan-first live events. He has previously partnered with the brand on its Bud Light Dive Bar Tour, as well as in June for A Night in Nashville ahead of releasing his celebrated country album, F-1 Trillion.
Speaking of his Night In Nashville performance, Post said in a statement at the time: “Bud Light has rocked with me for a while now, and I really can’t thank them enough for all the love and support they’ve shown through the years.”
F-1 Trillion debuted atop the Billboard 200 while lead single “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, became Post’s sixth Hot 100 No. 1. The album is up for best country album at the 2025 Grammys, while “Help” will compete for both best country song and best country duo/group performance.
