According to The Jasmine brand, the power couple is expecting baby number two shortly after their secret wedding in December 2023. Less than a year after their first child, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes (born July 18, 2024), they're already expecting another blessing.
Nelly and Ashanti's love story started when Apple Bottom Jeans were a must and you couldn't get a Nelly interview without hearing him say “Lil Durty”. The 2003 Grammy Awards press conference was the first time fans spotted Nelly and Ashanti together. We were also treated to a banger like 'Body on Me', which we sang to our fellow high schoolers, pouring our hearts out in the process. Recently (2024), Nelly and Ashanti dropped their latest collaboration, “This Lil' Game We Play.” After 10 years of dating, the two stars split in 2013. The connection was rekindled in 2023 at a boxing match in Las Vegas. If the block shoot was a couple, it would indeed be Nellie and Asadi.
Before the couple got back together, Nelly had two children from previous relationships: son Cornell Haynes III (Tre) and daughter Chanelle (Nana). The St. Louis legend also adopted two children from his late stepsister, Jacqueline Donahue, who died of leukemia in 2005. Assadi's love life has always been very private. Many rumors have circulated over the years about who she has dated. In a recent interview, rapper Joyner Lucas confirmed that he and the R&B singer used to be in love for a hot minute.
