A$AP Rocky is still adjusting to life as a dad. Rocky and Rihanna welcomed baby No. 2, RZA's little brother Riot, in August 2023, and the Harlem rapper's life has never been more different.
Rocky – born Rakim Mayers – is the latest cover star Bulletin boardwhich finds him touching on all things revolving around fatherhood, including how children's songs appear with cartoons Cocomelon it has become a staple in their home.
But the repetitive jingles from the 3D animations have caught up with him. Just don't tell the “Umbrella” singer that he's sick of it. “This is driving me crazy! Don't tell my girl I said that,” he said with a laugh. “Just kidding, I don’t give an as–t. He's tired of it, too, probably.”
The A$AP Mob frontman says things are going “great” with Rihanna in terms of their relationship and there's no more “perfect” match for him as he understands how hectic their schedules can get as multi-talented superstars units.
“It's crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules. [The relationship] it's going great,” he said. “I don't think there's a more perfect person because when schedules are hectic, he's very understanding. And when the program is released, that's when you can spend [the] most of the time together. It's all about understanding and compatibility.”
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna became parents for the first time in May 2022 when they gave birth to their baby boy RZA Mayers, whose name is inspired by Wu Tang Clan's RZA.
The 35-year-old is also gearing up to deliver his long-awaited album Don't be stupidwhich is his first LP since 2018 TRIAL. He released his first single of the year with “Highjack” earlier in August. The black and white accompanying visual arrived on Wednesday (August 21).
The project was scheduled to arrive on August 30, but the album has been delayed until the fall.
