When AC/DC hit the road in May for their first tour in eight years, The Pretty Reckless will join the legendary rockers as direct support acts on the UK and European tour.
As previously reported, AC/DC will kick off the tour on May 17 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and continue through a show on August 17 in Dublin, Ireland. A few more shows have been added since the initial announcement for a total of 24 dates, with tickets available here.
On Monday (March 25), it was announced that The Pretty Reckless will join the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band on all tour dates.
The Pretty Reckless, led by singer Taylor Momsen, are on tour to promote their 2021 album. Death by Rock and Roll. The LP has produced three number one songs on the Mainstream Rock chart: the title track, “And So It Went” (featuring Tom Morello) and “Only Love Can Save Me Now” (featuring Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron of Soundgarden).
The upcoming tour follows AC/DC's one-off performance at the Power Trip festival last October. The band's lineup for the outing includes classic members Brian Johnson (vocals) and Angus Young (lead guitar) alongside Stevie Young (rhythm guitar), Matt Laug (drums) and Chris Chaney (bass).
