The track from the group's self-titled debut album was a huge hit in their hometown of Boston, Massachusetts upon its initial release, while failing to garner massive traction nationally. a reissue two years later landed in the US Top 10 on the way to becoming one of the band's signature songs.
This fall, after just three shows into the band's inaugural Peace Out farewell tour, Aerosmith was forced to postpone the run after Steven Tyler suffered vocal cord damage during one show.
