Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' Scores for the First Time Advertising sign radio crown as it reaches No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart dated June 15. The single, released on pgLang/Interscope Records/ICLG, climbs from number two to lead the list as the most-played rhythm reference song at US radio, according to Luminate.
The new champion saw a 22% rise in projects from May 31st to June 6th. Thanks to the increase, the track is in contention for the chart's Greatest Gainer award, which is given each week to the song with the biggest vault in games in the format.
“Not Like Us” was released on May 4 amid Lamar's feud with Drake. With the beef dominating hip-hop news circles and pop culture in general, the track immediately exploded: It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, thanks in large part to its 70.2 million official US streams on corresponding tracking week – the highest weekly number for any hip-hop song in the past three years. In its first four weeks on the Hot 100, the track has yet to break out of the top two.
The fervor has translated into strong radio momentum for “Not Like Us,” which tops Rhythmic Airplay in just its fifth week on the chart. It wraps up the fastest, weeks-long climb to the top since Jack Harlow's “First Class” also completed a five-week run at No.1 in May 2022.

Elsewhere, “Not Like Us” repeats at No. 5 best on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, up 24% in weekly performances while also claiming Greatest Gainer honors. It also remains at No. 2 on Rap Airplay, again labeled the chart's Greatest Gainer thanks to a 23% improvement in audience impressions.
