In a move reminiscent of Tomorrowland's Global Journey flight, AirAsia recently transformed a routine trip from Kuala Lumpur to Bali into an electrifying mid-air rave.
On December 6, unsuspecting passengers aboard this particular flight were treated to a unique experience that has since caused a stir on social media, particularly TikTok. The occasion was AirAsia's 22nd birthday and the soundtrack was provided by Malaysian DJ duo BATE.
For those hoping for a smooth ride, the crew was kind enough to provide eye masks and earplugs. But at first glance it seems like most were eager to take part in the festivities, donning LED glow sticks in the middle of a dimly lit booth.
AirAsia has rewarded passengers for a limited time with 22% price discounts to celebrate the company's latest milestone. Some of those lucky travelers were even able to receive complimentary flights thanks to their participation in a competitive contest.
