Alana Springsteen is experiencing a new career, thanks to the tour in support of her debut album, TWENTY SOMETHING. With a string of sold-out shows under her belt, the country star is back in the studio working on music like never before. In addition to her sessions, the star also teamed up with Bud Light just in time for the summer season.
As part of her collaboration, Springsteen and several country artists will perform for fans 21 and older Billboard presents Bud Light Backyard, a two-day concert event at Tin Roof Nashville in the midst of CMA Fest. While Springsteen, Corey Kent and Dalton Dover will kick things off on June 7th, Dasha, George Birge and LOCASH will continue the festivities on June 8th.
From the beginning of the Bud Light Backyard session, Springsteen spoke Advertising sign exclusively about the team-up, her work on her second album and how the recent trip changed her life.
“There's no one more passionate than a country music fan at CMA Fest, so I can't wait to hype it up with them and our friends at Billboard and Bud Light at the Tin Roof,” Springsteen said of the upcoming event. “It's going to be a wild week and I can already tell this is going to be one of the highlights of my year.
While the singer said she and her bandmates are “ready to get a little wild,” she's eager to perform in such an intimate venue. “Billboard and Bud Light have been working hard to create the ultimate atmosphere and I can't wait to feel the energy in the bar when we play,” he continued. “I feel like this is one of those shows that has the potential to take on a life of its own, so we plan to show up prepared for anything.”
During her previous visits to Tin Roof Broadway, the singer has been decked out in glam as it usually serves as her post-awards hangout. However, this time around, she's looking forward to ditching the glam for something more casual [she] “He can actually sit comfortably on a stool inside.”
In addition to opening for Luke Bryan's “Mind of a Country Boy tour” at the end of June, the singer is deep into work on her sophomore effort. “I spent the last half of last year and the first part of this year writing songs about this next season of life that I'm in,” he revealed. “The journey of writing and liberation TWENTY SOMETHING Pgit led me to a time I was looking forward to for a long time. There's a freedom I've felt in my writing and in the studio that I've never experienced before and it fuels a frenzied creative energy. I can't wait to tell these stories.”
As for what fueled those life experiences, Springsteen completed her first tour in February and discovered “a sense of belonging and connection” from the trip.
“In many ways, the live show is like the culmination and celebration of all the work we do the rest of the year. The 'TWENTY SOMETHING' tour changed my life,” he explained. “We played to so many sold-out rooms around the world and celebrated these songs with our fans and shared our stories with each other. I love meeting people from all over and hearing how this music has impacted their lives. They keep telling me how seen they are when they hear it, but I just like to remind them that they are the ones who help me feel seen. They give me a sense of purpose that I don't think I'll ever be able to thank them enough for.”
