Thanks to their performances, North West and Bump J both earn their first career Hot 100 hits. At just 10 years old, North West, the eldest child of Ye and Kim Kardashian (who split in 2022), is now one of the youngest actors to ever hit the chart. Among other precocious talents, Jay-Z and Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy Carter hit the Hot 100 at just 7 years old in 2019 thanks to her featured turn on Beyoncé, Saint John and Wizkid's “Brown Skin Girl.” She made her mainstream chart debut soon after her world debut, as her bandmates are featured on Jay-Z's “Glory”, featuring BIC. The song hit the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs of 2012, making her the youngest artist ever. Advertising sign chart.
Stevie Wonder is the youngest artist to reach No. 1 on the Hot 100, as he was 13 when “Fingertips (Part II)” debuted in 1963. Overall, Jordy is the youngest artist to appear on the chart, just over 5 years old with “Dur D'être Bébé (It's Tough To Be a Baby)” in 1993.
Also notable is his debut “Good (Don't Die)”. The song was pulled from Spotify after less than four days on the streaming service, as it features an unspecified interlude of Donna Summer's 1977 Top 10 Hot 100 hit “I Feel Love.” The song has been removed from all other streaming services and for purchase. Hours after its release Vultures 1, Summer's estate claimed “copyright infringement” and denied use of the alleged sample. “Kanye West… asked for permission to use Donna Summer's song I Feel Love, was denied… changed the words, had someone sing it or used artificial intelligence but it's I Feel Love… copyright infringement!!!” she posted the estate in an Instagram Story on the official Donna Summer account February 10.
That's not the only sampling issue about the album. Ozzy Osbourne called Ye out and called him anti-Semitic after an earlier version of “Carnival” featured a live performance of Black Sabbath's “Iron Man.” In addition, R&B artist Dijon posted on Instagram Stories on February 9, a day before the album's release, suggesting that he was unaware that his song “Good Luck” was being sampled on the track “Stars.”
