Doja Cat had some fun during her set at Parklife festival in Manchester, England on Sunday (June 9), sprinkling some early pop magic into her headlining set on the Valley stage. During a second day of shows where the venue turned into a muddy soup thanks to storms, Doja played under a huge clear rain ponchowhich covered a stage outfit consisting of a white thong, matching white top and fur boots.
In an apparent nod to the bad weather, Doja dipped into Hilary Duff's 2004 anthem “Come Clean,” singing, “Let it wash away/ My sonity/ 'Cause I want to feel the thunder/ I wantna scream/ Let the rain…” before pausing and berating the silent audience with mock annoyance. “B–ch you don't know that s–t?! What the f–k! Wow. Wow.” she shouted, apparently annoyed that the drenched attendees weren't familiar with the electronic pop anthem from the singer/actress' 2003 sophomore album Transformation.
However, Doja seemed to shake it off pretty quickly as her band belted out the singer's hit 'Say So' and later posted a sweet note to X attendees, writing, 'Thank you Manchester! Thank you Parklife!” Doja's summer UK tour continues on Tuesday (June 11) with a show at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, followed by a show on Wednesday (June 12) at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham and gigs in Newcastle Upon Tyne and London before jump. in Amsterdam and Paris and touches the rock in Rio Lisbon in Lisbon on June 23.
