Full of carefree and uplifting energy, Anabel Englund has released a new single, “Get Busy.”
The song, out now via Ultra Records, blends Englund's light and airy vocals through an undeniably catchy melody. Adopting a playful and sensual tone, he unapologetically explores the theme of passion with lyrics about “being busy” in the field, almost anywhere else.
The song also strikes a chord for Englund, who revealed that he spent the past six months in a self-reflective “cocoon” after ending several personal and professional relationships.
“It was scary saying goodbye to people I've had in my life for many years, who I still love so much, and yet I also know it's time to start a new chapter,” she said. “When I think about my new beginning, a few themes come to mind. Strength in my own company and knowing who I am, a wonderful and juicy sexual awakening, love of connection, music and stories.”
