EDM.com Class of 2022 inductee Anfisa Letyago, known for her typically industrial and acid-inspired style of techno, is entering a new dimension with her music and an innovative new live show.
Her latest single, “Origami,” folds soundscapes like delicate paper and takes us to a place where melodic techno flutters with playful elegance. Evoking the intricacies of the ancient art form, the song sees Letyago embracing a moody electronic pop sound that veers away from her roots with playfully high-pitched vocals, warm kick drums, and shimmering synth textures. She describes it as an exploration of energy and transformation, mirroring the delicate yet precise folds of paper into a refined creation.
To accompany the launch, Letyago announced that it has partnered with renowned artificial intelligence artist Guisy Amoroso, also known as Calendulato develop an innovative live audiovisual show, “Partenope”.

Inspired by the ancient Greek myth of a mermaid discovered off the coast of Naples, the show takes on an immersive underwater theme by combining Letyago’s love of the sea with Amoroso’s surreal visual art. Using advanced 3D scanning technology, the DJ is transformed into a mermaid, bringing the legend to life in a mesmerising show that will premiere at August’s Red Valley Festival in Sardinia.
