Reno and Lake Tahoe.
“Over the years we've gotten a lot of requests from artists interested in playing in Sacramento, but the venue options have been pretty limited,” says Scott, noting that interest in the area really picked up with the opening of the Golden 1 Center, home of in 2016. arena of the NBA's Sacramento Kings.
Channel 24 is located on the site of a former warehouse, with Scott noting that discussions to purchase and build on the site began before the pandemic.
“It was almost a 10-year process,” he says. “From finding the right location to working closely with the city to get the design and construction right, we're excited to reveal what we've been working on and are confident that Channel 24 will be a great addition to the Sacramento music community.”
