Ant Dog is a 35-year-old MC from California City, California who is noted for being 1/2 of Madopelli along with two solo albums under his belt so far on The Devil's Pact & Here 2 Stay. Madopelli completed his signing to Lyrikal Snuff Productionz a year and a half ago with their last two LPs becoming career bests, so it only makes sense for Ant Dog to release his 3rd solo effort via LSP to coincide with the placement of MAD. out the homonym MAD (Me Against Death) later this weekend as well.
After the intro, first song “Sunday Service” is an instrumental trap opener that talks about getting a cross around your neck, while “Sacrifice” with Scum works in some strings and hats, so both admit memories of past. they are sometimes brought to their knees. “World with No Sun” deals in trap metal talking about rolling with the lost and Madopelli's lead single “Lifeless” join forces for a wicked frenzied banger.
“Stay Away” rudimentarily asks if you can help him get through this maze called life with more hats before the futuristic “Death from Above” bends he's put in the works. “Blood Remains” experiments with trap metal once again to talk about the silence that leads us nowhere in the end, but then “Poison” reunites Madopelli combining heavy guitars and hi-hats seeing the darkness in the eyes someone's
Str8 Krazed joins Ant on the instrumental/trap crossover “Feel the Same” talking about not knowing why they act the way they do, while the sick “Damned” featuring Bloody Ruckus finds the 2 sick clarifying that everyone is damned anyway . He finishes the last song before the outro “Come Home” with Rozz Dyliams Sadistic Agreement with the heavy guitars speaking of a sure exhaustion of time.
The Devil's Pact & Here 2 Stay Both are great examples of what Ant Dog can do on his own, but Sadistic Agreement really takes it to the next level as his most well-crafted solo material yet & MAD (Me Against Death) tomorrow he will surely do the same. Enhanced production, it shows his artistic versatility and the features all bring their own freshness to the table.
