Antonator invades the senses with his new single, a cosmic collision of old-school trance and techno.
“Swarm,” out now via his Anto Recordings label, is a propulsive techno journey through the stars. Extraterrestrial synths soar like alien spaceships, their engines humming with relentless energy, hurtling through a luminous arrangement with a sci-fi aesthetic.
The song’s spacey melodies and energetic bassline create a hypnotic, almost trance-like state. Beneath the familiar soundscapes, there’s a subtle undercurrent of experimentation, a hint of the unknown that keeps listeners on their toes. It’s a testament to Antonator’s skill as a producer, seamlessly blending the classic with the contemporary to create a sound that’s both nostalgic and edgy.
Originally from Athens, the Stockholm-based artist has been producing electronic music since the late 90s. In 2007, he won Pete Tong’s coveted “Bedroom Bedlam” contest thanks to his song “Wonderful Strings.” Since then, his gritty tracks have received support from David Guetta, Sven Väth, Paul Van Dyk and The Crystal Method, among others.
