The rapper will announce the full itinerary for the tour named after her 2019 hit on March 20
If you are one of Megan Thee Stallion's HOTTIESSS, consider yourself officially invited to the rapper's Hot Girl Summer tour. It's not actually a save date, though, as she won't announce the route for the tour, named after her 2019 hit, until March 20.
Meghan announced the trek on her Instagram with a magazine cover-style photo of herself in a pool. Next to it, the cover lines list a few dozen cities in North America and Europe. US cities include Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia and, of course, her hometown of Houston, among others.
“LADIES GET READY TO COME FUN WITH ME ON THEE HOT GIRL SUMMER tour,” she wrote with emojis. “Get your clothes ready nowwww! We start this May. I told you which cities to prepare for today!” According to the image, the trip will be “the hottest event of the summer.”
Last month, the rapper's single, “Hiss,” hit Number One Advertising sign Hot 100. “Thank you [everyone] who took time out of their week to struggle and make this happen!” she wrote in a message to her fans. “I love you, I appreciate you, I'm so grateful.”
Around the same time, Megan revealed that she had signed a new deal with Warmer Music Group in which she would retain her master and publishing rights. “This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my life and career,” Megan Thee Stallion said in a statement. “I'm really focused on building an empire and growing as an entrepreneur, so I'm proud to take this next step in my journey and work with Max Lousada and the entire team at Warner Music Group in this new capacity. I know we will create history together.” The deal allows her to continue as an independent artist.
