The pop star trio is teasing a new song together
Three pop queens are about to join forces for what appears to be a wild dance-pop collab. On Tuesday, Kylie Minogue, Bebe Rexha, and Tove Lo seemed to tease a new song together, as they shared videos of themselves picking up a phone call from “MOM” with the same ringtone.
Minogue first started the trend, as she dialed the number “606” before answering, “Hi.” Then, Rexha, from inside a hotel room, and Tove Lo, lounging by a pool, answered separate calls with the same ringtone featuring Minogue’s voice. The caller ID read “MOM” in all-caps.
Each pop star shared the clips with the same caption and the emoji for their respective astrological sign: Bebe Rexha’s a Virgo, Tove Lo’s a Scorpio, and Kylie Minogue’s a Gemini.
The day prior, Minogue shared an Instagram story featuring pink silk fabric with each of the women’s star signs and a pre-save link for new music. Fans are speculating that the single is either titled “MOM” or “My Oh My.”
This isn’t the first time Minogue and Tove Lo have teamed up for a track: the “Padam Padam” singer was featured on Tove Lo’s “Really Don’t Like You” in 2019. The tease also arrives just a few days before Minogue is set to headline a show at BST Hyde Park in London on July 13 with Marina, Anitta, and Say Now as openers.
The new music comes about a month after Minogue debuted “Midnight Ride” with Orville Peck at Outloud Fest in early June. Minogue dropped her album Tension last year. Meanwhile, Tove Lo teamed up with SG Lewis for house-EDM EP “Heat” on June 14, and Rexha dropped “I’m the Drama” on June 28.
