The set earned 100,500 equivalent US albums in the tracking week ending March 21 (down 56%), according to Luminate. It is Grande's third album to record a personal-best two weeks at No. 1. Her last two studio full-lengths, Seats (in 2020) and Thanks, Next (2019), both spent their first two weeks at No. 1.
Eternal sunshine debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated March 23 with 227,000 units earned.
Plus, Kacey Musgraves Deeper well debuts at No. 2 with its biggest week ever in corresponding album units and traditional album sales, while Justin Timberlake Everything I thought it was rockets to No. 4.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multimetric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units include album sales, track album equivalents (TEA) and streaming album equivalents (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale or 10 individual tracks sold from an album or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 official paid/subscription audio and video streams generated from songs from an album. Ahead of the album's March 15 release, Musgraves was the musical guest on NBC's March 2 episode of Saturday night live.
