Attendees at this year's Amsterdam Dance Event will be the first to hear some of Australia's best newcomers to electronic music.
In October, hundreds of thousands of professionals and fans will head to Amsterdam for ADE, the world’s largest electronic music summit. Attendees from around the world will converge on the Dutch capital to discuss the future of festivals, art and the industry at large.
Known for cultivating a large and dedicated dance music community, Australia is being represented by the organization Sounds of Australiawhich serves to provide networking opportunities for artists looking to take their music global. Australia is the world’s third-largest market for electronic music and the average fan from the region “streams more of the genre than anyone else on the planet,” according to a press release.
Sounds Australia will host a two-day showcase at Box Sociaal, a café, bar and restaurant selling authentic Australian cuisine and cocktails. In addition to the scheduled event, the space will also be available as a meeting area for Australians looking to network.
Australia House will be taking over Box Social during ADE on October 16 and 17. You can learn more about the Australian dance music showcase and RSVP here here.
