Currently in the midst of a sold-out tour of Australia, JET's comeback is gathering pace with confirmation of a full UK and Ireland tour, their first here since 2009.
The news comes at a time of resurgence for the band. After being inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame last year, they have just released new single 'Hurry Hurry' and are working on their long-awaited fourth album, due for release in 2025.
Vocalist and guitarist Nic Cester says: “Get Born was a rare and unique moment of total planetary alignment where we somehow managed to capture enlightenment in a bottle. “We are all very excited to be returning to the UK and Ireland for these shows.”
Tickets for the shows listed below will go on sale at 10am on Friday, May 24. www.ticketmaster.es

The new single 'Hurry Hurry' is currently only available on 7” vinyl, with very limited stock remaining on their official website. Its B-side, 'Un'avventura', is effectively a cover of a cover: a rollicking rock 'n' soul rendition of Wilson Pickett's version of a song originally by Lucio Battisti. Nic performs his voice in both English and Italian, a nod to the time he spent living in Italy over the past 15 years. Both songs will arrive on streaming platforms in the near future.
JET achieved phenomenal success in its first incarnation, with its 2003 debut album, 'Get Born', climbing charts around the world and achieving over 6 million sales, including Platinum status in the UK in recognition of more of 300,000 sales. Two more hit albums followed, 'Shine On' (2006) and 'Shaka Rock' (2009), while her catalog of hits: 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl', 'Look What You've Done', 'Cold Hard Bitch', 'Hold On', 'She's A Genius' and many more, still connecting with new fans all these years later. The band has 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, a notable figure for a band whose most recent album arrived before the platform's full global launch.
