Just three months after he last ordered it Advertising signThe Latin Airplay chart's Bad Bunny is once again in charge as his single “Perro Negro,” featuring Feid, jumps 2-1 to dominate the April 20 chart. It's Bad Bunny's 25th No. 1 and Feid's sixth.
On the overall Latin Airplay chart, “Perro Negro” leads Eladio Carrión's “TQMQA” after racking up 9 million US audience impressions, up 5%, in the week ending April 11, according to Luminate. As “Perro Negro” trades places with “TQMQA,” the latter falls to No. 2 after a week in power with 8.8 million impressions, down 8% from the previous week.
“Perro Negro” wins gold for its first week and joins 13 other songs that reached No. 1 in 2024. “Perro Negro” becomes the fourth song by Bad Bunny's Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana to reach No. 1 on Latin Airplay, following the one-week rules of “Where She Goes” (Aug. 2023), “Un Preview” (Dec. 2023) and “Monaco” (list dated Jan. 27).
Benito's Latin Airplay chart run began with the No. 1 “Mayores,” featuring Becky G, on the February 17, 2018 survey. Since then, he has placed at least two No. 1s every year, for a total of 25 career majors from 47 entries in the ranking. Bad Bunny has the fifth-most No. 1s on Latin Airplay, with J Balvin leading the way with 36.
Notably, Bad Bunny boasts his longest-running No. 1 on Latin Airplay via two collaborations with acts outside of his core Latin rhythm: “Mia,” featuring rapper Drake, and “Un X100to,” featuring local Mexican Grupo Frontera, both for six weeks at the helm in 2018-19 and 2023, respectively.
Feid, meanwhile, boasts his sixth No. 1 at radio.
Elsewhere, “Perro Negro” rebounds 6-5 on the Hot Latin Songs multimetric, which combines airplay, streams and downloads, after two weeks at No. 2 that began last November. The song falls 10-11 on Latin Streaming Songs despite a 1% increase in streaming to 4.8 million during the tracking period.
