Megan Thee Stallion spoke her piece on her fiery diss track, “Hiss,” and had people reacting all day on Friday (January 26). One person in particular who took offense was Nicki Minaj, who was reacting to Meg's hollow shot almost all day.
It started when Meg dropped the “Hiss” and most people noticed the line, “These hoes aren't crazy about Megan, these hoes are crazy about Megan's Law, I don't really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y'all don't they want me to start.”
This was clearly aimed at Nicki Minaj, as Megan's Law is a federal law that requires the names of sex offenders to be released for the safety of the community in which they reside. So the law applies to Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered sex offender, and eventually her brother, Jelani Maraj, who is currently serving time for child rape.
Shortly after the release of “Hiss,” Minaj took to Instagram Live to fire back, posting a snippet of a Megan diss song that apparently stuck. While she also cracked down on Meg's foot size and tried to shame her for sending Tory Lanez, who was convicted of shooting her, to prison, Minaj's response just didn't cut it. And then it got really dark when it came to Meg's dead mother.
While Barbz still has Minaj's back, it seems the tide is turning with many on social media noting that she's coming off more and more like a bully (which isn't a new complaint). This particular kid reviewer on Tik Tok went in and managed to make “Queen Of Rape” trend…
Clearly, it's been a long time since 2019, when Meg and Nicki collaborated on “Hot Girl Summer.” And to think this all might stem from Minaj not appreciating that Meg collaborated with Cardi B on “WAP.”
