The deeper Youssef delved into “Pressure,” the more he connected with its energetic synth-rock vibe, soaring melodies, and themes about dealing with stress. “[I had] the pressure of the tour and the pressure of the Piers Morgan show and the exposure again, and I discovered that my whole life I've been living with that kind of pressure,” says the comedian. “So, I decided to make it the theme song, my backing music on stage, and maybe it will be the theme song of my life.”
