Leila Cobo:
Elmer Figueroa Chayanne Chancito
Chayanne:
Also known as Chanchito.
From now on I'm going to start calling you Chancito.
Whatever you want. The people who loved me a lot called me Chancito, my mom, my grandmother.
When you feel bad, do you talk to yourself and say: Little Dog, you can do it?
Chancito, you can do it. Chancito too, you know that we use the diminutive when we are little kids. So, like Chayanne, what we were talking about before, comes from my mother. This is not a name created for music. So, since I was little I was Chancito and so was my grandmother, that diminutive of affection for the little one. And thank goodness that later the “ito” went away and Chayanne remained. Chancito, Chancito.
But I like it.
No, I'm joking too.
Three, three.
Yes, three. Three syllables.
Chancito, Chayanne, Chayancito. Chayancito, no.
Double is better: AA.
Yes, Chayanne.
Imagine that in the show, so nice to listen to when you are there, you feel the love that they are giving you.
Yeah, and you're still excited? So, you're backstage, you haven't come out and the lights go out, then everyone starts screaming and you hear them saying Chayanne, Chayanne.
Leila, it's incredible, because it's been many years now, I remember staying in the hotel and suddenly people would start shouting from the street and you were in your room and you went out, you could go out in a bathrobe or you could go out…
Keep watching for more!
