Benson Boone's bounce is in full force as 'Beautiful Things' leads the UK chart race.

This contest features Hozier's “Too Sweet” (Island), who flies 9-2 on the Official Map Update. If it continues its run, “Too Sweet” would give the Irish singer-songwriter an equal career best on the chart, matching his signature song “Take Me to the Church”, which reached No. .2 in 2013.
Beyoncé topped the chart twice last week, although she is set to lose both crowns. “Texas Hold'Em” is down 1-3 in midweek singles and Cowboy Carter (via Columbia/Parkwood Ent) looks likely to drop off the album chart, with the Libertines' latest, All quiet on the Eastern Esplanadeall ready for the title.
Meanwhile, Artemas' 'I like the way you kiss me' (Parlophone) broke into the top 10 for the first time last week. The British producer and artist's viral track continues to soar, rising 7-5 on the midweek singles survey.
Country hit the UK charts in a big way last week thanks to Bey and her Cowboy Carter LP, which landed three top 10 singles, including the chart-topping “Texas Hold 'Em.” There's another US country song headed for the top 10, Dasha's “Austin” (Warner Records). They are 15-8 in midweek, for a new top spot.
The top new debut would have to go to J. Cole with “HYB” featuring Bas and Central Cee. It was dropped from Cole's surprise mixtape It may be deleted later (Interscope), is projected to reach No. 24 on the chart. It may be deleted later it also hosts Kendrick Lamar's diss track “7 Minute Drill”, which Cole later expressed regret about. “7 Minute Drill” is expected to bow at No. 28, while “Crocodile Tearz” could drop to No. 36. If all three tracks hold their place, Cole's career top 40 UK hit Vassiliou will rise to 14.
All will be revealed when the official UK Singles Chart is released late on Friday, April 12.
