The track begins in a tense and quiet manner before opening with a loud roar, complete with brass hits and relentless drums. Similarly, Gibbons ranges from charged, staccato verses to open, brooding highs, mirroring the drama of the string section and the song's cinematic feel. He stream the song below.
“Reaching Out” also arrives with an interactive music video created with visual artist Weirdcore. The visualizer shows 4D models of Gibbons falling through a sci-fi spacescape, with plenty of psychedelic imagery and strange transformations.
