One of Hip-Hop's most famous street figures is almost home. Big Meech of BMF has been assigned to a half residence.
As spotted on TMZ, the native of Detroit, Mich. he is no longer behind bars. Last week, the leader of the Black Mafia family was released from FCI Coleman Low, a low-security federal penitentiary in Florida. The celebrity gossip site claims she has now moved into a halfway house run by the Miami Housing Authority. A photo of Big Meech and his barber has since surfaced. in the film, we see him wearing street clothes as opposed to his prison uniform.

While he or his family have yet to officially comment on the matter, his attorney Brittany K. Barnett expressed her excitement for his release. exclusive statement to The Michigan Chronicle. “He used his time in prison to focus on personal growth and transformation and now has the opportunity to start a new chapter.”
The Black Mafia Family allegedly ran one of the most successful drug trafficking organizations in America.
In 2005, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory was arrested as part of a federal investigation into BMF, which resulted in the arrest of him and 100 others. He and his brother were sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Earlier this year, a judge reduced his time by three years for good behavior. His sentence now expires on January 27, 2026.
