The pop star will take over arenas in New York and L.A. next week for the special events
Billie Eilish will host a pair of free listening parties for her new album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, in New York City and Los Angeles next week.
Both will be massive arena events, the first taking place May 15 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the second May 16 at the Kia Forum in L.A. Fans can request up to two tickets each, with submissions open now until tomorrow, May 7, at 9 a.m. PT. Those lucky enough to receive tickets will receive confirmation on May 10.
For those unable to attend the listening parties, they’ll luckily be able to hear Hit Me Hard and Soft a few days later when it arrives May 17. Eilish announced the LP — which follows 2021’s Happier Than Ever — last month, sharing the 10-song track list a few weeks later. The musician, however, declined to release any advance singles, writing on Instagram, “I wanna give it to you all at once. Finneas and I truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it.”
In her recent Rolling Stone cover story, Eilish spoke about how Hit Me Hard and Soft found her trying to get back to the person she was in 2019, just before becoming one of the biggest pop stars in the world. “It was the best time of my life,” she said. “This whole process has felt like I’m coming back to the girl that I was. I’ve been grieving her. I’ve been looking for her in everything, and it’s almost like she got drowned by the world and the media. I don’t remember when she went away.”
Eilish will embark on a massive world tour in support of Hit Me Hard and Soft later this year. The North American leg will launch Sept. 29 in Québéc, Canada and wrap with three shows in Los Angeles, Dec. 15, 16, and 17. Concerts in Australia and Europe will follow in 2025.
