Billy Joel has been tipped to appear at Glastonbury after recently announcing he will release a new single in February.
The Piano Man singer has sparked rumours he will appear live on stage this summer after announcing his first single in decades will be released on 1 February.
“Billy Joel’s social media post… has ignited rumours of a series of live performances throughout the year, with June’s Glastonbury Festival appearing to be a perfect time for him to perform his first single in 17 years,” said a spokesperson for bettingsites.co.uk, Neil Roarty.
“The American pianist’s price to headline the legendary festival has been slashed from 10/1 to 7/2 on Tuesday morning, making him the fifth likeliest act to take to the stage in June.”
Dua Lipa is still the favourite to headline this year’s summer festival at 1/3, along with Coldplay at 4/7.
Billy, 74, announced his new single Turn The Lights Back On, is to be released next month. It will be available on digital streaming services and limited-edition 7-inch vinyl.
