After dozens of submissions on bitbird's Discord server, which boasts a 12K community of pioneering producers, designers and artists, San Holo and Thorwald van den Akker's label has revealed its create together vol. 4 Compilation.
The culmination of bitbird's community-driven “create together month,” the compilation serves as one of the pioneering label's most recognizable activations and a strong testament to its long-standing mission: “create forever.” This time, the annual initiative was supported by industry leaders such as FL Studio, Splice and LANDR, and the final 15-track release featured collaborations between 40 artists from 13 countries.
Although the three compilations that preceded create together vol. 4 have amassed over 2 million views across all streaming platforms, the commercial success of the series is the least important factor. True to its motto, bitbird extends its reach to some of the scene's most exciting emerging talents in vol. 4platforming their uninhibited creativity in a tracklist that ranges from drum & bass and trap to hyperpop and even rock.
