Bizarrap highlights the future of Latin rap with his newest collaboration Music Session. On Wednesday night, the Argentinian producer released “Vol. 60″ of the series, along with “Subió La Temperatura”, featuring rising Dominican rapper Lismar.
The producer debuted two songs on stage during Biza's show at Terminal 5 on Wednesday night. “I just released a song a few minutes ago. Are you ready to hear it live for the first time or not?” Biza told the crowd, per Advertising sign. “I brought a special guest. Her name is Lismar from the Dominican Republic. We didn't just release one song, we released two!'
“He's only 18, he's the future,” he added.
Bizarrap teased the new collaboration – titled “Yo Soy La Moda” – with the short film BZRP.ai, which captured the producer walking into a strange office building where executives ask Bizarrap to do his next music session with artificial intelligence. “With AI, you can make music with anyone: Taylor, Justin, Dua,” the performer says before playing a fake song, seemingly in Dua Lipa's voice.
A distraught Bizarrap blows up, confronts the strain, and sets the AI lab on fire. Then, at the end of the video, he finds Lismar hitting fireballs after putting on a set of broken VR lenses.
In the lyrics of “Subió la Temperatura”, Lismar drags the rise of the electronic music approach in the last year. “I have the only voice that artificial intelligence can't copy, I have no peer, one of a kind,” he raps in Spanish. “I'm the referee, I catch these rappers off base.”
Throughout his 60 sessions, Biza's sparkling production has elevated Latina rappers, helping them land some of their biggest hits. Among the Music Sessions standouts were stars like Snow Tha Product, Villano Antillano, Ptazeta and Nathy Peluso.
The song pairing with Lismar follows his two tracks with corrido tumbado pioneer Natanael Cano, with whom they released 'Entre Las de 20' and 'Vol. 59.” Bizarrap is also set to perform at the Sueños Music festival in Chicago this weekend.
As for Lismar, the Dominican rapper is a relative newcomer after only releasing a few singles in recent years, including “Delincuente con Traje,” “Nota,” and “Modo Avión.”
