BLACKPINK, with members Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa and Jennie, are no strangers to breaking records with their music. We have a whole list of their impressive achievements, which you can see here. One of the many achievements on the list is that in 2020 the girl group “How You Like That” music video earned three Guinness World Records entries. With over 86 million views in just the first day of release, the video won the most viewed video on YouTube in 24 hours, the most viewed video on YouTube in 24 hours and the most viewed video on YouTube in 24 hours from a K-pop group.
On Spotify alone, in 2023, the four-piece became the most-streamed female group on Spotify, according to a report by Guinness World Record. “It's very strange for us. All records are the result of our fans, BLINK and their unconditional support,” said Jennie album-spotlight-shed-k-pop-just-beginning” target=”_blank”>Grammy.com of their success in September 2020. “Every day we try to recognize how grateful we are, but more than the pressure, we are ready to give back to them what they have given us. It just gives us more motivation to go further than we ever dreamed.”
