BLACKPINK's Jennie Kim is a vision in blue on the 2024 Met Gala red carpet

Jennie Kim is no stranger to a standout look on the red carpet, and the BLACKPINK superstar continued the trend at the 2024 Met Gala on Monday night (May 6).

The 28-year-old superstar wore a custom-made blue Alaïa mini dress with an asymmetric cut at the waist. The dress also had a high neck and a long train, which Kim teamed with a matching pair of strappy heels. She accessorized the look with a sleek ponytail, a gold belly chain and pearl earrings, matching the elemental feel of the 'Garden of Time' dress code.

Last year, Jennie made her debut on the red carpet, where she revealed Fashion the advice her BLACKPINK bandmate Rosé gave her after attending the gala in 2022. “Rosie, she was here last year. He just told me to have fun, so that's the plan for today,” the “SOLO” rapper said.

It's been an exciting new year for Jennie, who revealed at the end of 2023 that she's launching a new label and company called OA. “Hi, this is Jenny. This year has been filled with many accomplishments and I'm so grateful for all the love I've received,” the K-pop singer captioned it.
