Blxst announced Thursday (June 27) that he will be releasing his debut album I Will Always Come To Find You on July 19 via Red Bull Records/EVGLE.
He dropped the album's official trailer on his social media, which features Blxst whipping around town in a black Buick Grand National (with California license plate “BIRDIE”) wearing black driving gloves before arriving at Evgle & Son Auto Service Garage.
“This is the most confident I've ever felt in my music. What I had to overcome while making this album changed my entire creative process and fans deserve to see the growth from it,” Blxst said in a press release. “I would be remiss not to reach the heights I dreamed of reaching when I first started out as an artist. There is no better time than now.”
The Grammy-nominated artist has released his latest project, Before you goin 2022. The 13-track set featured collaborations with Arin Ray, Rick Ross, Grandmaster Vic and Zacari and peaked at No. 90 on the Billboard 200.
He's dropped three singles in 2024 so far: “Heart Ain't Empty” in January, “Rewind” featuring Feid in March and “Risk Taker” featuring Offset in May. Blxst will release another single, “Dance With the Devil” featuring Anderson .Paak, on Friday, June 28.
“I've been a fan of Anderson .Paak ever since Malibu album. His approach as an artist and the tone of his voice inspired me while I came to my own artistic work. Full circle moment, he organically approached me in the summer of 2023 to work with him and the Free Nationals team. I used it as an opportunity to shoot for the stars and asked him to be a part of my debut album as well,” added Blxst. “This song is a perfect blend of two California artists and is sonically undeniable from the first listen. Conceptually, the song paints a picture of the tug of war with temptation in love and relationships.”
