Boldy James teams up with Harry Fraud for his 9th full length studio LP. He's been breaking out in Fall 2013 since his Alchemist debut M.1.CS (My 1st Chemistry Set)the Detroit lyricist would later pursue a deal with Nas' independent label Mass Appeal Records for a short while before it folded. Once he got home, Uncle Al would help get his name out there again by dropping the Intense EP around Christmas 2019 and second album after The price of tea in China early last year. This was followed by Sterling Toles produced Manger to McNichols which was just as fantastic, but with the support of Griselda Records Versace movie The EP was a little disappointing given how rushed it was. Bo Jackson become one of the best and Super Tecmo Bo was almost as great for an EP despite IceColdBishop's verse on “Hot Water Tank”. Fair Exchange Not Robbery produced by Nicholas Craven became one of his most acclaimed works to date Leadership penalty got over it & Mr. 10-08 Futurewave production is also up there, as is Conductor Williams production Beyond the tracks in early summer, so I knew The Bricktionary it would meet my expectations.
“Pressing My Bunk” is that drumless opener that promises the new shit will make toe-curling big stage reveries, while “Rabies” with Benny the Butcher works on guitar so they can rap to even trap and have movement in the jungle. . “Pillar to Post” takes the trap route organically likening this shit to a vicious cycle feeling that wears off just before “Speedy Gonzales” hooks some samples and the hats shake the bag in record time
Tee Grizzley joins Boldy on slick lead single 'Cecil Fielder' who come with their original d-boy shit before soul/trap chipmunk hybrid 'Ronald Bishop' talks about wanting people to stop calling him crazy. “Shrink Wrap” featuring Babyface Ray brings a cloudy trap vibe to the table, bending their dope game to be as cold as it gets, while “Shadowboxing” jumps over more soulful chops samples and hi-hats sparrin' with demons of.

Many like Leadership penalty & Beyond the tracks Accordingly, Boldy James is coming to the end of a prolific year for hip-hop musically, releasing some of the best music of his entire career. Harry Freud's production puts more emphasis on the soulful tones of its predecessors and throws a hint of trap into the mix, allowing Boldy and his guests to spit game from The Bricktionary himself.
