Britney Spears has reportedly rounded up some heavy-hitting songwriters for her 10th studio album. As reported by Sun and now confirmed by Page sixThe pop star has enlisted Charli XCX for the comeback project.
According to Page Six, hitmaker Julia Michaels will team up with Charli XCX to write the songs for the album, which will mark Spears' first studio full-length since 2016. Glory. No new material has been recorded so far, as the LP is “just beginning to take shape.”
The album will be Spears' first since she was released from her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021, although she has released a few singles: “Hold Me Closer” with Elton John and “Mind Your Business” with will.i.am.
