The singer didn't hold back when the Osbourne family discussed her Instagram videos on her podcast and said she felt sorry for her
Britney Spears responded when Ozzy Osbourne and his family commented on her dance videos on a recent episode of the show The Osbournes Podcast. In the episode, which aired on July 16, Osbourne said he was “sick of watching poor old Britney Spears on YouTube. Every fucking day.” He added: “You know, it's sad. Very, very sad,” as his family members agreed.
You know who doesn't agree? Spears, who posted a lengthy statement on Instagram saying she planned to “tell the Osbourne family who are the most boring family known to mankind to politely jump!!!”
In the statement, Spears recalls Kate Beckinsale's iconic rom-com LOVELY COINCIDENCE and praises the actress for standing up for herself on social media. She wrote that she “thought it was too bad” for Beckinsale to respond to critics online, adding that “I hardly ever dance” and “I'm not poor at all!!!”
“I know what it's like to be judged,” Spears wrote. “But I think it's important to help each other and invite each other to places that help our souls grow !!!… What are you going to do to help someone and make their dreams come true, except to are you like me and kate haters saying we're too old or you don't have proper content ??? Do you think they might be offended by what they see???”
The singer ended the post by saying she was hoping to get a photo shoot with Beckinsale before telling the Osbourne family to “fuck off”.
Spears later added a second Instagram post of herself happily dancing.
The Spears topic came up on the Osbournes' podcast after a listener asked Kelly Osbourne if she would ever upload dance moves to TikTok. “I don't know how to do TikTok dances,” she said. I don't know where anyone would think I would do that.”
Sharon Osbourne then noted: “I feel like TikTok, when it first started, was people doing silly dances. But now it's evolved into so much more.” That's when Ozzy spoke his mind about Spears, with the rest of the family cheering. “I feel so sorry for her,” Kelly said, while Sharon called her a “poor little thing.”
