Britney Spears has three million reasons to be thankful. The singer took to X on Monday (October 28) to thank her fans for being so supportive of her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Mewhile also encouraging anyone who hasn't picked up a copy yet to get out there and get it now.
“Wow wow… thank you all for your support this past year!!! It means the world to me!!!” Spears wrote alongside a photo of the cover and the message: “One year of The Woman in Me… Over 3 million copies sold worldwide!”
In case you're one of those who missed it the first time around, the book dives into the pop-icon's traumatic childhood, her struggles growing into the limelight as a teenage superstar, and the love and heartbreak of her relationship with Justin Timberlake.
Spears has vowed never to return to the music industry, but the singer has continued to update her fans on the goings-on in her life, including a series of posts this week from her latest vacation in Turks & Caicos. Updates have included some of her signature dance videos, including an in white underwear to Noah Cyrus' “I Got So High That I Saw Jesus” and another in black underwear to Janet Jackson's slick “Anytime, Anyplace” that made the Brit think about how much she likes her favorite place to leave.
“There's something about this exotic place… No matter how many times I come here, it feels like the first time!!!” she wrote. “The way Mother Nature speaks to me!!! Single!!! Meditation and prayer speak volumes!!! One video I took out had birds singing and the song was so loud!!! Okay, maybe I just found my soulmate here!!!”
And while the island nation speaks to her soul, Spears admitted that whenever she visited with her ex (she didn't specify which ex), it wasn't great. “Honestly I'm not ashamed to say this, but whenever me and my ex came here, we used to fight… Not once did I sleep in bed with him!!!” she said. “I took a pillow and slept outside… I love the sound of the tap outside!!! I wanted to whisper the secrets of the universe… I stayed inside this trip a lot because it is incredibly hot!!! But think I might sleep in the baby yard tonight.'
