Brony James might be in a self-admitted “defeat” on the NBA Summer League court, but his stick skills are still sharp. Lebron James' firstborn won the Call Of Duty Two Minute Drill, beating out some notable NBA players along the way.
The Los Angeles Lakers draft pick won the second annual Call of Duty two-minute drill at the NBA Summer League with a last-second 84-83 win over Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams. According to reports, Brony was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III earned his victory just before the tournament's 8 p.m. deadline, defeating Williams and Bobi Klintman of the Detroit Pistons. The latter came third with 77 points.
With the W, Bronny won a $10,000 prize and a personalized Call of Duty two-minute NBA Summer League Championship Belt drill. Bronny fans shouldn't be too surprised since then graced its cover Sports Illustrated for his esports talents as a member of Faze Clan back in 2021.
Last weekend (the first weekend of the NBA Summer League), more than 60 NBA players participated in the Call of Duty Two Minute Drill in each winner format. Players also got a chance to preview the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Those players and NBA players included Paul George, now of the Philadelphia 76ers, Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jalen Williams of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Trey Murphy (Wahoowa!, #iykyk) of the New Orleans Pelicans.
