A new Bruce Springsteen concert documentary is coming to Hulu and Disney+ in October.
Entitled Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street BandThe film will include “exclusive footage” of Springsteen and the E Street Band in rehearsals for their latest world tour.

Directed by Thom Zimny, road gate “It opens a new door into Springsteen's creative process for fans around the world, sharing footage of the band's rehearsals and special backstage moments, as well as hearing from Springsteen himself,” notes a press release. “These conversations follow Springsteen closely as he develops the story he wants to tell with this tour's setlist, interspersed with rare archival clips of the E Street Band, underscoring themes of life, loss, mortality and community. In this way, it serves as an essential, never-before-seen chapter in an autobiographical series spanning Springsteen's memoirs. Born to Run, Springsteen on Broadwayand the movies western stars and Letter for you.”
Along with intimate footage from rehearsals and concerts, the film will include new interviews with Springsteen and members of the E Street Band.
The documentary isn't the only cinematic treat on the way for Springsteen fans. TO Nebraska-The biopic of the era, starring Jeremy Allen White as the New Jersey rocker, will go into production this fall.
Springsteen recently launched the European tour with an exciting show in Kilkenny, Ireland, which included a cover of The Pogues' “A Rainy Night in Soho” in tribute to late frontman Shane MacGowan. He will play additional shows across the UK and Europe until the end of July, before kicking off a new leg of stadium shows later this summer in the US. Get tickets for their next dates here..
