Hope on the Street Vol. 1 is described in the announcement as “a special album” containing six tracks.
The record will be released around the same time as a docu-series called Hope on the Street, which will following the K-pop idol on his “dance journey”. The series will “trail J-Hope’s dance journey” as he explores and meets street dancers throughout the cities of Osaka, Paris, New York, Seoul and Gwangju. The show will be available globally via Prime Video on March 28 at midnight KST, as well as TVING in South Korea.
Both will “dive into the theme of dance,” a press release says, “the core of J-Hope’s artistic roots and identity.”
J-Hope previously mentioned the project this past July, during an appearance on fellow BTS member Suga‘s SUCHWITA show.
