Bush leader Gavin Rossdale will host a new talk and cookery series called Rockstar Cooking Chronicleswhich will premiere in early 2025 on VIZIO's free streaming service, WatchFree+.
The television show, created by Rossdale and currently in production, will feature guests including tennis legend Serena Williams, iconic singer Tom Jones and actors Selma Blair, Brooke Shields and Jack McBrayer.
“Our show is the culmination of a passionate team collaboration, coming together to make something truly special,” Rossdale said. “With VIZIO and production partners Roundtable and Bungalow, we have been able to make my personal dream come true in what I hope will be an innovative and entertaining show. I have found that cooking for people creates intimate, special moments and is a great conduit for deeper, more meaningful conversations. Nothing brings me greater joy than connecting with friends and family over fantastic food that I have created just for them.”
An official trailer for Rockstar Cooking Chronicles shows Rossdale cooking for his guests and engaging in deep conversations with them. At one point in the clip (see below), Rossdale is seen singing the Bush classic “Comedown” with Serena Williams, a well-known rock fan who has expressed her love for Green Day and Alice in Chains in the past. Later in the trailer, he sings “It's Not Unusual” with Tom Jones.
VIZIO executive Adam Bergman added of the program: “With Rockstar Cooking Chronicles“We are harnessing the intersection of food, entertainment and music to create a show that resonates deeply with our audience and provides an exciting opportunity for brands to become part of entertainment.”
Bush recently completed a summer tour of greatest hits. As of now, they have one more show on their schedule for 2024, a concert on October 25 at the Grand Theater at The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada (pick up tickets here).
