Caitlin Clark had a blast on the Eras tour. The Indiana Fever WNBA star was recently spotted taking part in Taylor Swift's global outing, who just wrapped up her US dates with a trio of concerts in Indianapolis. The baller, who just finished her rookie season with the Fever, attended the first night of the Indy run with her coach, Connor McCaffrey, and was spot trades tour signature friendship bracelets with Swifties from her suite.
While of course everyone was there to see Taylor since the shows were in Clark's hometown of the WNBA, local fans and WNBA executives were also freaking out to see the famed point guard and NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer in concert. In fact, they were so fired up that Clarke said they almost injured her without her playing.
“Taylor Swift, I went to Indianapolis two nights in a row. I've been three times,” Clark said during an interview this week at the Women's Leadership Summit “I've had a ton [of bracelets]up to the arms. I had to take them off, my traffic was cut off! Everyone was throwing their bracelets at me. I've seen it three times and each time the show just got better.” Check out a shot of Clark's arm full of bracelets here.
It wasn't just Swifties who fell in love with Clark during the Indy Eras. Taylor's friend Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs revealed in a recent “New HeightsPodcast episode that while attending one of the concerts she met Clark and is now Team Caitlin.
“I saw Caitlin Clarke there, I had to meet Caitlin. She's awesome, she loves being out there in Indianapolis, she says it's a fun town and we're both true Midwesterners at heart,” said Kelce, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, OH and went to college at the University of Cincinnati. . “I played high school ball, college ball, pro ball here in the Midwest, and it was great to catch up.”
