Camden Cox, whose ability to compose dance music at the intersection of ecstasy and melancholy is matched by few, is back with a new single, “Shivers.”
Produced alongside prolific dance music duo Punctual, “Shivers” is a gripping house track that explores the cyclical nature of love and forgiveness. Beneath its energetic surface lies a hauntingly beautiful undercurrent, recalling those pivotal moments when a single smile can break the tension and rewrite history.
“'Shivers' is about a moment of realization I had when I decided to give something another chance,” Cox said in a press release. “It's that wave of forgiveness you feel when one of you smiles and all the problems go away. You're falling in love with the same person a thousand times over.”
The EDM.com Class of 2024 star is currently experiencing quite the breakup amid a year that has seen her perform at EDC Las Vegas and tour with legendary electronic music trio Nero. She recently won big at the 2024 London ASCAP Awards, picking up the Hot Dance/Electronic Song award for co-writing John Summit and Hayla's global dance anthem, “Where You Are.”
