Cardi B is already making plans for her third album, even before her years-anticipated sophomore LP drops.
The Bronx bombshell ran a poll seeking responses from her fans to the idea of releasing a Spanish album on Sunday night (June 23), and a large majority seemed to be in favor of Cardi going back to her roots. He reached out to her Instagram Story and posted the poll while in the car singing her Peso Pluma collaboration “Put Em in the Fridge.”
With nearly 480,000 votes collected, the results were positive, with 79 percent of the Bardi gang wanting to see a full-length Spanish LP from the Grammy winner.
“OK AFTER MY ENGLISH album,” she wrote on Monday morning (June 24).

Cardi is no stranger to rapping in Spanish, dishing up bilingual bars on tracks like Ozuna's “La Modelo” and Shakira's “Punteria.”
It remains to be seen what this means for Cardi B's long-awaited sophomore album. In May, she tweeted that there would be no project from her. “Anyway NO album this year I don't care I'm taking it easy this year… Leaving these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer,” she wrote at the time. However, the rapper's reps denied it to her Rolling rock cover days later.
On June 20, she teased fans by having them guess the album title of her sophomore LP, which gave the Bardi Gang hopes for legitimate traction on the project.
Cardi B set the bar extremely high with her debut album, Breach of privacywhich celebrated its six-year anniversary in April.
“6 years ago I released my first album and it broke so many records GAH LEE!!” he wrote on Twitter at the time. “6 years later I'm getting ready to put the next one on this year.. it's so different to what everyone expects and I'm so excited.”
EEA debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and every song on the project is at least certified platinum. It won Best Rap album at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
