Last week, after Cardi B replaced her social media profile pictures with a solid black one, fans organized a playful search party for the rapper, using the hashtag. #WhereIsCardi and memes and missing posters are circulating worrying about the star's whereabouts. ONE excerpt of Cardi B rapping “I didn't even get dressed, every L I got come after YS, oh man!” also released a sample of Missy Elliott's 1999 single.
On Wednesday, Cardi shared the album artwork for “Like What (Freestyle)” on Instagram, announcing that it will be released on Friday with the caption “YA FOUND ME” — fueling speculation that her second album may be released soon.
Almost six years ago, Cardi B released her diamond-certified debut, Breach of privacyand has dropped chart-topping singles such as “Up” and “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion ever since. The rap giants reunited for a second go-round with “Bongos” in the fall and performed the song at the 2023 VMAs.
