Chappell Roan is ready to continue the pink pony club fun.
The star took to Instagram on Friday (October 25) to tease a potential single titled “She Gets the Job Done” along with a series of Polaroid photos of her rocking her merch. “This is a clue. Just let it sink in,” she captioned the post. See the photos here.
Roan has rocketed to fame in the months since her debut album was released The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess last year. Following a string of headlining performances — including Coachella and the 2024 Gov Ball — the 14-track project earned a new peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
“I feel like I've been right ever since,” Roan recently told Jimmy Fallon about her musical rise during an appearance on his late-night talk show. “I feel like, I already made it when people showed up to my concert a few years ago…everything else was a cherry on top.”
Earlier this month, Dan Nigro — who co-wrote and produced the pop star's first LP — shared details on Roan's sophomore effort. According to him, the duo have already completed five tracks for the project, including a “fun, up-tempo country song”, a “couple of ballads” and a “medium rock song”.
